Builds

Solo tools and experiments that solve a problem I actually had. Some open source, all free to try.

omakey

omakey is a modern Android keyboard inspired by the beloved (and now discontinued) Fleksy keyboard — the one keyboard that made typing feel fast. It's built from the ground up with gestures, speed, and privacy in mind.

If you ever loved a keyboard that let you delete a word with a swipe instead of holding backspace, add a space with a flick instead of a tap, and just fly through a message — omakey is for you.

You can download the apk from the Github.

Thanks for trying and let me know your feedback.

omanote

omanote (stylized in smallcase) is an opinionated note-taking app that was purpose-built to help my day to day note-taking and reading habit. To put it in a straight way: its a place to dump whatever comes to my mind: the notes, links, tasks, events without having to dig into multiple apps.

Everything is organized neatly on their dedicated page should you wish to view them separately. The #hashtag is your mindmap for connected themes.

You can try it out as a standalone desktop app or through a webapp. Android and iOS app is WIP.

Learn more here. If you have any feedback or suggestions, shoot them right from the app.

Channels Organizer

YT Organizer is a browser extension to organize your favorite YouTube channels and creators based on your categories.

I created this extention because I followed mutiple creators of similar theme and I wanted to keep up with contents of similar creatos I like in the same place.

It uses YouTube RSS to function and it is configured to fetch recent 5 videos of all the saved creators in the category. You can import/export, delete/edit/sort categories.

If you are Firefox user, you can install from its Addons page. If you are a Chrome user, you can download from the Chrome Webstore page.

Give it a try and let me know how it works for you.

RentPasa

RentPasa is a ecosystem for renters and rentees to manage their home-ownership. It aims to be the default platform for all the renters to list their available spaces and for rentee to find their next home -- no middleman, just direct channel for supplier and consumer (renter and rentee).

Besides, the app allows you to manage, track and organize almost everything related to renting.

The project is current a work in progress. It will be intially be launched only as an Android application and based on the responses, other platforms will be prioritized.

LUT Preset

LUT Preset is a Figma plugin that allows you to apply local LUT presets to your images directly in the app.

It was intitally created for internal use to make all our marketing/corporate photos to the same look and feel using our custom Lightroom preset. But since all designers didn't have Lightroom installed and weren't comfortable with having a separate app just for this, this plugin came into existence to help team members apply preset directly in our beloved design tool.

You can try it for yourself on Figma.

Use and hit like, if you find it useful. Drop comment if you have any feedback or suggestion.

Taas by Patterns

Taas by Patterns is a custom designed playing cards from Patterns, a local brand I co-founded with my friend. For the first phase, Taas was targetted for Nepal's Dashain and Tihar festival that featured the witty and funny one-liners on each card. While its a playing card, it was not launched as a means to gambling, which is illegal in Nepal. Highlighting the content of the card, it was marketed as a festival gift to ownself, friends and family.

The card was well received by the people with some feedback some to improve for the next launch.

You can learn view details about the cards in its Instagram page.
